Swisstainable

Swisstainable is the sustainability programme of Switzerland Tourism, which promotes the sustainable development of tourism in the country. It provides guidance and transparency for guests looking for sustainable offers. The programme consists of three levels, which are classified according to the fulfilment of certain sustainability criteria: Level I (committed), Level II (engaged) and Level III (leading). The aim is to position Switzerland as a sustainable holiday destination without compromising on enjoyment and depth.

Our à la carte menus are based on a vegetarian menu that has been carefully and creatively put together. All dishes can be supplemented with meat or fish on request in order to offer each guest an individual and flexible choice.

Holzen Fleisch: Since 2003, this company has stood for Swiss meat of the highest quality, processed with traditional craftsmanship.
Lachsforellen vom Sattel: Since 1984, the Reichmuth family has been dedicated to rearing trout and char of outstanding quality.
Vitznau eggs: The hens of Albert & Brigitte Zimmermann from Vitznau deliver fresh eggs every day.
Noldi Küttel: A wine supplier from Vitznau known for its wines made from traditional Swiss grape varieties.
Landhof Muracher: Landhof Muracher in Vitznau produces organic wines from its own vineyards with great passion and commitment.
