The Summer Residence of Star Chefs at Vitznauerhof

Welcome to Restaurant Sens, where the  most exciting culinary talents take center stage in an unforgettable summer pop-up experience. From June to the end of September, Sens transforms into a gastronomic playground for award-winning guest chefs, each bringing their unique vision, creativity, and flavors to the shores of Lake Lucerne.

Every few weeks, a new star chef curates an exclusive menu, turning each visit into a one-of-a-kind dining adventure. Expect bold flavors, artistic presentations, and an intimate setting that lets you experience haute cuisine in a relaxed lakeside ambiance.

Also this year, from August 1st to September 30st 2025, Florian Neubauer created a menu in our Sens restaurant that perfectly matched to the picturesque lakeside location.

Guests enjoyed his masterful fish dishes and were inspired by his creativity and passion for fine dining.

From May 15th to August 31st, 2025, the Sens restaurant on Lake Lucerne was once again transformed into a stage for culinary excellence. Our Executive Chef, Ruud Oostdijk, known for his outstanding work at the hotel restaurant “Inspiration” and its impressive panoramic terrace, once again took on the role of host for the culinary talents of the month.
With his expertise and tireless dedication, Ruud provided guests with unforgettable moments of enjoyment, capturing the essence of fine dining in every creation.

Sens by Azceituna

From July 1st to 31st, 2025, the Vitznauerhof was the stage for a very special culinary experience: Azceituna, the Zurich pop-up project by Nikol Morillo and Jade Ismail, made its first guest appearance on Lake Lucerne – with a dinner concept that combined culture, community and culinary art in a delightful way.
